Our Objectives

COMPPART Foundation is guided by clear objectives aimed at improving relationships between citizens and security institutions, promoting human rights, and strengthening community resilience. These objectives drive our programs, partnerships, and advocacy to ensure safer, fairer, and more accountable communities across Nigeria.

Strengthening Trust Between Communities and Security Agencies

To reduce and or if possible, eradicate all forms of antagonistic relationship between the Civil Populace and Law Enforcement / Security Agencies (Public or Private) in the provision of their legally defined functions in Nigeria.

Promoting Human Rights–Compliant Security Operations in the Extractive and Energy Sectors

To localize and guide companies, especially in the extractive sectors of hydro-carbon and mining, and energy industries, on how best to manage and deploy their security operations in line with global best practice of respect for and protection of human rights, preventing their abuses by security personnel’s providing such services to them and foster a partnership problem solving between companies and their host communities.

Advancing Community Oriented and Human Rights Based Policing

To conduct trainings, workshops and seminars on community oriented and Human Rights Based Policing for law enforcement/security agencies and their host communities

Building Strategic Partnerships for Human Rights and Law Enforcement Reform

To network, Collaborate and Partner with credible Networks, Coalitions, Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Government for the purpose of localizing tested and trust best practice in human rights and law enforcement in Nigeria.

Strengthening Community Resilience Against Justice and Security Sector Impunity

To build and sustain community resilience to LAWFULLY resist justice and security sectors impunity in Nigeria.

Empowering Women and Youth

COMPPART Foundation prioritizes the active involvement of women and youth in justice, security, and peacebuilding programs. By providing training, mentorship, and platforms for engagement, we ensure their voices influence decision-making processes and community initiatives. This approach strengthens social cohesion, encourages innovative solutions, and helps build resilient communities where all members can contribute to sustainable development, accountability, and the protection of human rights.
